CHECKMAT HAMMERSMITH

When I was growing up in the favela of Cantagalo I dreamed of one day opening my own world class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy.

With the launch of the London-based Checkmat Hammersmith Academy in 2018, I have taken my first big step towards a permanent elite BJJ gym.

Checkmat Hammersmith runs classes every evening from Monday to Friday, and Open Mats on some Saturdays and bank holidays.

Everyone is welcome in my gym regardless of where you are in your Brazilian Jiu Jitsu journey.

How to find us

Come in through the main entrance to Westside School. Sign in at reception and ask to join the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class in the sports hall.

Prices

First class is free for all new members!
£15 single class - 'Pay as you go'
£55 per month - Two classes per week
£80 per month - Unlimited training
£20 - Joining fee
